Knowing you're on track is what stops me from racing rookie series
..nah, as already mentioned..it's an SR minefield in rookie. I want to make the next Pro series...I'm not going to go anywhere near a rookie series however good the car is.
Who the heck want to race the MX-5 only at Laguna and Lime Rock?
MX-5 at Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta, Phillip Island, Zandvoort, etc is what I'd love to see.
I have the list right here, I'd wager not many right minded people would disagree with it.
Murderers
Rapists
Paedophiles
Religious fundamentalists
Racists
Homophobes
Klutch
There's a good start dont you think?
I've just made a load of room in prisons, made life safer for kids, women, gays and anyone who isn't from your country of origin, made the world safer due to the lack of wars and rid this forum of a complete ****.
Pretty sure it's because iRacings physics are more demanding.
I must jump into an LFS race and see how I do now. It's been a long, long time since I did an LFS race, but as nothings changed in LFS for ages my old setups will still work, so that's a bonus
I've just spent the last hour reading the start of this thread and it is indeed pretty funny
Indeed I had some pretty strong views on iRacing, especially after I'd tested a beta testers version. Wasn't impressed at all, but i stick by what i said then.
They have certainly improved a hell of a lot since then. Still doesn't feel anywhere near as good as nKPro imo, but it's a complete service and I couldn't imagine racing anywhere else these days.
Nope, I cant flat shift either of those cars. Lift and shift doesn't seem to work to well either. It's clutch on upshifts all the way with those two for me.
Hehe, old news indeed I was just deleting a load of replays and spotted a few that i thought I'd keep and stick on youtube.
Brands Hatch week coming up... lets see if we can get near that record EDIT: Scrap that..I just saw the record time..not a hope in hell of getting that one
It's so crazily bumpy there I was having to do a shedload of counter-steering, and of course with the tire model as it is the only way to go fast is to drive it like Richard Burns rally
In replays it does always seem to look like your doing a lot more work with the wheel than it feels like you are in reality
All my old CTRA sparring partners. To many of them to mention individually. Night after night of top quality racing at the front of the grid. Great days.
Who would really prefer they rescanned Lime Rock instead of putting all their resources into the new tracks they have planned?
iRacings "training tool" is just the usual marketing talk. Believing it was ever going to be a training tool is like believing Codemasters have made an F1 simulation or Gran Turismo is "The ultimate driving simulator"
All games company's make their games out to be something they are not. Nothing new there.
